Daily 9 October 27 2026 brings together nine official announcements made on October 26. The list moves from regulated AI and workplace software to core banking, stablecoin remittances, ATM operations and community cybersecurity.
Launches are separated from selections, stated intentions and company-reported deployment claims. Browse the Daily 9 archive for earlier briefings.
1. Vancity selects Temenos SaaS for core banking
On October 26, Vancity said it selected Temenos SaaS for a build-and-migrate core banking program. The plan covers Temenos Core, Payments Hub and Data Hub on Microsoft Azure. The announcement describes a modernization project, not a finished migration or a live replacement system. Temenos says the combination will give the Canadian credit union a shared platform for banking and payments, while the timetable and customer-facing rollout remain to be completed. Official announcement
2. MAJORITY launches USD-to-USDC family transfers
MAJORITY announced on October 26 that eligible U.S. members can send dollars to family members in Latin America who use MAJORITY. Zerohash provides the infrastructure that converts the transfer into USDC for the recipient’s MAJORITY Global Wallet. The companies describe the service as available around the clock, but access depends on both parties meeting the product’s eligibility and wallet requirements. This is a launched corridor within MAJORITY’s network, not a universal stablecoin remittance service. Official announcement
3. Interact MCP opens more than 700 intranet actions
Interact introduced Interact MCP on October 26, saying it exposes more than 700 intranet capabilities across 26 areas to compatible AI assistants. The company lists Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Gemini Enterprise among the supported environments. Employees could search, publish or manage intranet work from an assistant while retaining Interact permissions and governance. Available actions still depend on the assistant, organization configuration and each user’s access, so the headline number is not a promise that every action appears everywhere. Official announcement
4. Atos packages AI for sovereign and isolated environments
Atos launched its Genesis Intelligence suite on October 26 for public cloud, sovereign cloud, on-premises and air-gapped deployments. It also introduced Atos Codex, short for Center of Operations and Data Excellence, as an operating model for taking AI applications from design into production. The offer targets regulated, data-sensitive and mission-critical environments. Those positioning and capability statements come from Atos; customers still need to evaluate security controls, model behavior and deployment requirements for their own workloads. Official announcement
5. Braiin adds multi-model routing to RADIUS CX
Braiin announced an upgrade to its RADIUS CX customer-experience platform on October 26. A new layer called Force AI is designed to route work across multiple AI models, while the broader platform includes Engage, Assist and Insight tools for customer conversations and analysis. Braiin says RADIUS CX supports voice, chat, messaging, email, social and video channels. Its deployment reach and performance claims are company-reported; the announcement does not supply an independent benchmark or a uniform rollout timetable. Official announcement
6. Diebold Nixdorf and Euronet outline an ATM partnership
Diebold Nixdorf and Euronet announced on October 26 that they intend to form a global strategic collaboration around ATM networks. The proposed arrangement would combine Diebold Nixdorf cash-recycling hardware and field service with Euronet’s Ren payments platform and ATM operations. The companies identify processing, deployment and managed-network services as intended areas of cooperation. The wording matters: this is an announced intent to collaborate, not evidence that a combined platform is already deployed across customer networks. Official announcement
7. i-payout expands local routes for global disbursements
i-payout said on October 26 that its disbursement platform now connects businesses to local payment routes through one integration. The company lists more than 20 methods, including local bank transfers, push-to-card payments, digital wallets and prepaid options. The practical point is routing: a business can offer recipients a locally familiar method without maintaining separate technical connections for every network. Availability is still market-dependent, and the announcement does not present every method as available in every country. Official announcement
8. CoinW adds EngageLab messaging to trading communications
CoinW and EngageLab announced a partnership on October 26 covering push notifications, one-time passwords and email. CoinW plans to integrate EngageLab’s AppPush, OTP and email products into transaction and account communications for its trading platform. The announcement frames the work as a reliability and reach upgrade, but does not provide independent delivery metrics or a detailed regional schedule. Users should treat it as an integration announcement rather than proof that every message channel already performs the same way in every market. Official announcement
9. Spelman opens a community cybersecurity clinic
Spelman College announced on October 26 that it has opened the Spelman Pathways and Experiential Applied Research, or SPEAR, cybersecurity clinic. The program will give students supervised, practical work while providing cybersecurity services to small businesses, nonprofits and local governments. Spelman says the clinic was developed through a $1 million Google.org grant connected to a broader consortium initiative. The model joins workforce training with community support, although the announcement does not specify a public service menu or universal eligibility. Official announcement
